Cheryl nominated for charity work award

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, has been nominated for an award by Do Something, to celebrate all the charity work the singer has done this year.

In January of this year, the kind hearted Geordie, launched her own charity called ‘Cheryl’s Trust’ in partnership with the ‘Princes Trust’.

The trust has been set up by Cheryl, to help unemployed and disadvantaged young people of the North East, to secure employment and get their lives on track.

The X Factor judge, is aiming to raise £2 million pounds in the next year, so she can open a state of the art media centre, in the heart of Newcastle.

When the centre is up and running, the ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ singer, is aiming to open the centre’s all across the UK, and create a lasting legacy, that will help young people all over Britain.

The Do Something, initiative, has nominated Cheryl, for an award, to celebrate the work she has been doing with the trust this year,  including launching a Prizeo competition to raise money, giving £100,000 of her second perfume StormFlower EDT’s sales to her charity and also launching a chocolate bar with Greggs, in aid of the trust.
